Carnival Splendor is the only ship of its design and class in the Carnival fleet and has the capacity for 3002 passengers, 1150 crew and weighs 113,323 tonnes.
Splendor has a state of the art indoor spa that covers 2,000 m2, the largest spa on any of the Carnival ships.
Splendor is also the proud owner of a huge 510 m2 children’s playroom and a dedicated water play area. With multiple pools, the signature Carnival Twister Waterslide, and a splash park you will find hydro-excitement galore; because the main pool has a retractable roof, you can swim whatever the weather.
By contrast, the Serenity adult-only retreat is a place of sheer relaxation and tranquillity. Try the Thalassotherapy pool or the dry heat chamber; with two forward decks dedicated to health and beauty you will be pampered and pummelled to your heart’s content.
For a formal affair, head to the Signature Dining restaurant, or for Asian flair, try the exciting flavours of Mongolian Wok. The Pinnacle Steakhouse, in stylish surroundings at the Apex of the Ship is delectable and will be certain to satisfy your cravings.
For more casual dining there are a multitude of eateries all around the ship; what better than to dine out on deck with a view of the ocean?
It is difficult to know which way to turn when there is so much fun to be had.
El Morocco Lounge rocks with laughter at high quality comedy shows, and the Piano Bar sways in time with themusic as the audience join in with requests and vocals.
If you fancy chancing your luck, call in at the Royal Flush Casino, or simply sip a Martini while you’re soothed by Jazz in “The Cool” jazz club.
Live stage shows, karaoke, or if you are a late night owl then dance until the early hours in the night club...whatever you choose, the atmosphere on board is lively, friendly and fun.
The pride of Carnival Splendor is the huge indoor spa that consumes two forward decks and is the largest ever on any of the Carnival Ships.
There is a thermal suite, health and beauty treatment rooms, and a Thalassotherapy pool. The upper of the two spa decks is a winter garden with a ceremonial tea house for a tranquil escape to recharge your batteries.
If you like fresh air with your exercise, and perhaps an audience to spur you on, then the arena-style sports area at the stern of the ship is the place for you.
Prepare to get soaked, or at least splashed on board Splendor!
With the water park, signature Carnival Twister water slide and pools galore, you can’t avoid the water-based fun.
The retractable roof over the main pool means the weather cannot dampen your mood, but if it all gets too exciting then you can retreat to the adult-only oasis and dive into a good book instead.
