British based cruise line Cruise and Maritime Voyages have announced a new flagship for their fleet. The ship formally known as Pacific Pearl from P&O Cruises Australia will join Cruise and Maritime and begin cruising under the new name of Columbus from June 2017.

Serving the British cruise market, Columbus will call London Tilbury her home (port) and offer guests an exciting selection of scenic cruises to destinations such as Amsterdam, Antwerp, Iceland, Madeira and the Canary Islands, Baltic Capitals, Fjordland, Cuba and the Caribbean.

Columbus will accommodate up to 1400 guests across 775 cabins, a high percentage of which will provide ocean views. Solo cruisers will be pleased to hear there are 150 cabins allocated for single guests.

A great selection of dining venues will be available, from fine dining to speciality tea and coffee shops. A traditional British pub will be onboard as well as several bar and lounge areas. The modern and stylishly designed Atrium makes for a spacious and sophisticated hang out.

Entertainment is endless and guests will be wowed by live shows hosted in the Palladium Show Lounge. The Dome Observatory and Nightclub also offer promises of a night to be remembered
