As well as the more traditional services offered in the health centre, the Sauna, Jaccuzzi and Steam Room are included in the price of your cruise. The beauty salon offers treatments such as facials, hairdressing, manicures and pedicures, as well as a luxurious range of relaxing massage techniques and therapeutic treatment programmes, sending you home looking and feeling brand new. These treatments are all chargeable to you via your onboard ship board account.

For example, Thalassotherapy baths help with a range of skin, rheumatic and muscular complaints; specialist massages de-stress, detox and re-energise you; seaweed body wraps help remove toxins and stimulate the lymphatic system and Ionithermie treatments help tighten the muscles for a sleeker body line.

And that's not all; some shipboard spas are now at the cutting edge of health maintenance and offer the very latest ambience and treatments such as Reiki (a treatment in which therapists "float" their hands just above your skin to unblock energy flow) and Ayurveda, the traditional system of medicine from India.
