Many cruises have introduced a casual approach to dining across their ships, moving away from the more traditional two seating main dining experience. On most cruise lines you can now enjoy the same cuisine as is served in the main dining room in a more relaxed environment and you also have the opportunity to dine with different people. There are no set meal times or designated tables and what's more there's no need to dress up either.
You no longer have to appear at a fixed time in the dining room. Instead, the choice of when and where you wish to enjoy the ships cuisine is up to you. Anytime dining or freedom dining is a great way of adding even more variety to your holiday, if you wish to dine in the main dining restaurant earlier or later than usual, celebrate a special occasion or enjoy an intimate meal for two.
So if you prefer to have the traditional dining at the set times or choose when, where and what to eat, from French fine cuisine, Sushi, Spanish Tapas, Steakhouse, Seafood, Oriental or Italian style dining. And of course there's always the option of 24-hour room service. You're free to dine when and with whom you choose.
