Dress Code

Throughout the day, Crystal Cruises guests wear a casual mix of active resort wear. Dining room attire is casual during the day; however, swimsuits are not appropriate. If you do not wish to change for a meal in the afternoon, alfresco dining on deck is available.

For days in port, be sure to bring comfortable walking shoes.

Each evening on a Crystal cruise has a specific dress code, which applies to all public areas of the ship after 6 pm. Guests find that the occasional formal evenings create a special atmosphere in contrast to the other more informal evenings on board. The three codes of attire are casual, informal and formal. Typically, 10- to 14-day cruises have three formal nights. The number of informal nights is usually based on the number of days at sea, and casual nights are based on days in port and the time of departure.

Formal Evening Attire
Evening dresses and gowns of fashionable length for ladies and a tuxedo, dinner jacket or dark suit and tie for gentlemen.

Informal Evening Attire
Informal attire is appropriate for most evenings on board. For ladies, evening dresses, cocktail dresses or suits are suitable. For gentlemen, we suggest sport jackets and trousers; ties are optional.

Casual Evening Attire
On casual evenings a more relaxed attire is accepted, such as casual dresses and suits for ladies and sport shirts and trousers for gentlemen. Ties and jackets are not required.

Dining

Evening
The extraordinary cuisine for which Crystal Cruises is justifiably famous is offered in our elegant Crystal Dining Room, located in the heart of the ship just off the Crystal Plaza. The Crystal Dining Room is beautifully appointed, with sweeping ocean views by day and a magnificent ambience at night. Our gracious European-trained waiters and internationally acclaimed chefs provide regionally inspired dishes and classic continental cuisine. The Crystal Dining Room offers the flexibility of two seatings to facilitate your dining preferences and gives you the convenience of open seating at breakfast and lunch.

Casual poolside dining is offered on many evenings. Served from the Trident Grill (Tastes on Crystal Serenity), dinners on these relaxed, no-reservations evenings under the stars are a unique Crystal Cruises dining option.

Specialty Restaurants
Crystal's alternative specialty dinner restaurants offer exciting variety at no additional cost.

On Crystal Symphony, you'll enjoy the innovative Asian cuisine prepared with a contemporary flair at Jade Garden. Dishes are inspired by the exotic array of traditions and ingredients of the Orient. Specialty selections from Wolfgang Puck's Chinois restaurant are also offered.

On Crystal Serenity, contemporary Asian cuisine is featured in the specialty restaurant Silk Road and The Sushi Bar, offering signature dishes created by internationally renowned Japanese master chef, Nobu Matsuhisa.

On Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity, Italian restaurant Prego offers elegant dining with a spectacular view and unique Italian cuisine. No matter where in the world you are cruising, you'll have the option to enjoy Old World charm and authentic regional Italian cuisine, with signature creations by Piero Selvaggio, owner of the renowned Valentino restaurants in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

Daytime
For dining throughout the day, Crystal offers a variety of delectable choices. Lido Café features a casual ambiance with breathtaking ocean views, and the buffet-style indoor/outdoor café offers both Early-and Late-Riser Breakfast, as well as late-morning bouillon service and luncheon buffets.

Daytime snacks, a lunchtime hamburger/hot dog grill, sandwiches, specialty burgers and a full bar are available at the Trident Bar & Grill. During your cruise, you will be treated to several special buffets that might include Asia Café, Cuisine of the Sun, Latino Nuevo and American Classic. For your sweet tooth, ice cream, frozen yogurt, sherbets and freshly baked cookies are available during the day at the Ice Cream Bar.

Afternoon Tea
What could be more civilized than afternoon tea? Crystal Cruises offers several tea options to transport you to a different time and place. Revel in the luscious Viennese flavors and elegant ambiance of our Mozart Tea, where our staff in period costumes of velvet, brocade and lace cater to your pleasure. You may also choose the white-tie-and-tails tradition of our English Colonial Tea or the charming southern ambiance of our popular American Tea.
