A full-size basketball court at sea? They said, why not? So they put them on the Oasis, Freedom and Voyager class ships - just don't let the ball go out of bounds. Equipment is available on the Sports Decks and all ages are welcome. The basketball courts are so popular that for the Radiance and Sovereign class ships they've put in half-courts. These courts can also be used for volleyball, and, as always, all the equipment is available on the Sports Decks.

Daytime Onboard Royal Caribbean Cruise ships
During the day you can dress as you would on any holiday, relaxed and comfortable. Shorts, t-shirts, summer dresses and swim suits are likely seen. When going ashore it is a good idea to take comfortable walking shoes, a jacket and a rain-poncho. Always consider the destination you are travelling to. If travelling to a cold climate such as Alaska you will need coats and thick trousers, however if you are going to a hot climate such as the Caribbean, swim suits and light garments will be all that’s needed. Cultural restrictions may also need to be observed so carry a light sarong in case conservative dress is required.
Evening Onboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships
During the evenings onboard, Royal Caribbean dress codes vary from smart/casual to formal nights, according to the length of the cruise. During a one week cruise there will be two formal nights. On these nights you will be required to wear cocktail dresses for women and suits or tuxedos for men. It is not compulsory to dress formal on these nights, for those who prefer not to you can dine in the Windjammer Café. The remaining evenings on your cruise will be a smart casual dress code. Shorts will not be allowed in the dining room.

When they've finished dinner, take your children to meet our Adventure Ocean Youth staff at the dining room entrance doors. The Crown and Anchor Society is Royal Caribbean’s loyalty club that recognises and rewards their most loyal guests.
From January 2011 the programme changed from its point per cruise system and is now a point per night. Every cruise night that you spend on board a Royal Caribbean ship will earn you one point. However, if you are staying in a Junior Suite or above category you will earn double points per night.
To activate your membership, you can either enrol online or complete a simple enrolment form onboard. Every member of your family will need their own membership number but can be linked together to equal points. Upon receiving your exclusive membership number you need to ensure that number in entered in your cruise booking and your points will then automatically be added to your account. You can start earning points from your first night onboard, however your benefits will not reflect until your first completed cruise.

ROYAL CARIBBEAN TIPS & GRATUITIES
Gratuities can be conveniently arranged online or with us before your cruise. This is a beneficial way of paying your gratuities as you will not have to worry about sorting them out onboard.
However, if you choose to not settle your gratuities before you sail, Royal Caribbean will add a $12.00 per person per day service charge to your SeaPass account on a daily basis. Price will be $14.25 per person per day for Grand Suite and above category. In the unlikely event that you feel the amount charged is not satisfactory to the level of service you have received, you can request to modify the daily amount by going to Guest Services.

ROYAL CARIBBEAN DRINKS PACKAGES
As an enhancement to Royal Caribbean International's drinks program, they have launched three Drinks Package options, giving all guests a no-hassle way to enjoy an all-inclusive drinks experience during the cruise holiday.
Drinks packages are only available to book onboard on the following ships:
Independence of the Seas, Grandeur of the Seas and Legend of the Seas. Passengers will be able to enjoyable paying one set price for a wide variety of drink choices.
- Beer Package: In this package you can enjoy all beer brands onboard, by draft, can or bottle and house wines by the glass. Price: $29.00 per guest, per day.
- Classic Package: In the package you can enjoy all of the benefits of the beer package aswell as a list of spirits; brand names include Smirnoff, Beefeater and Johnny Walker and cocktails using the selected spirits available. Price $39.00 per guest, per day.
- Premium Package: In the package you can enjoy all of the benefits of the classic package as well as a list of premium spirits; brand names include Absolute, Bombay Sapphire and Johnny Walker Black and cocktails using the selected spirits available. Price $49.00 per guest, per day.
All above prices include drinks gratuities and are based on per guest per day basis.
