Hamilton
The tiny city of Hamilton was founded in 1790 and became Bermuda's capital in 1851. It houses a beautiful white washed city hall and two cathedrals, one of which dates back to 1897. Today Hamilton boasts a thriving shopping district and is home to the headquarters of Bacardi spirits. (View current weather)
St. George's
This UNESCO world heritage site was the first permanent settlement in Bermuda. The buildings have been mostly untouched since the 19th century, meaning that strolling down the narrow lanes really is a journey through history. St. George's is a vibrant city featuring many restaurants, shops and bars and a vast array of fascinating historical sites, such as the Old State House, the oldest building in Bermuda.
