Princess Cruises Announce a Fourth Royal Class Ship

06 Dec 2017 | by Helen Williams

October 2019 will see the arrival of a magnificent new ship for Princess Cruises: Sky Princess. Designed to accommodate 3,660 guests, she will be a sister ship to Royal Princess, Regal Princess, and Majestic Princess, all of which are in the Royal class.

Princess Cruises’ Royal class offers passengers some brilliant features onboard their ships. Sky Princess will be no exception, and guests can look forward to enjoying all kinds of entertainment and dining opportunities, and a number of other fantastic aspects;

  • Movies under the Stars
  • Adults-only Sanctuary
  • 80% balcony staterooms
  • Teen and youth clubs
  • At least 5 speciality dining venues

  • The name Sky Princess was chosen to pay homage to another classic Princess Cruises vessel of the same name, which sailed over 30 years ago. This decision echoes the cruise line’s pride in their long history, and signals their ongoing commitment to providing a great service to customers when it comes to exploring the world’s waters.

    Sky Princess’ early itineraries will be Mediterranean-focussed, departing from Rome, Athens, or Barcelona, before ending her first season in North America, at Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

    Cruises onboard Sky Princess will be open for booking later on in December, so get in touch with our sales team to find out more.
