Explorer of the Seas

Explorer of the Seas was the second ship to be built in Royal Caribbean’s Voyager class group. This class offers some of the most exciting and innovative ships afloat.

Providing a fantastic choice of facilities, a cruise on Explorer of the Seas is guaranteed to give you the holiday of a lifetime. Royal Caribbean has a history of producing record breaking cruise ships and this one is no exception.

The Royal Promenade is an indoor promenade stretching the whole length of the ship, lined with shops and restaurants. A truly magical place to stroll along, you will not believe that you are experiencing this in the middle of the ocean. A range of parades and street entertainment also takes place here making it the perfect location to grab a bite to eat or simply sit and people watch.

If you want to be adventurous and try new activities head up to the pool and sports deck where you will find an array of exciting activities. Pool games, rock climbing, mini golf and inline skating are just some of the activities that will get your adrenalin pumping! Explorer is also one of the few ships that has an onboard golf simulator.

If relaxation is your idea of a perfect cruise then Explorer has just as much to offer you. With a large spa offering everything you need for some pamper time including a hair salon, sauna rooms and a wide range of signature treatments. The adults-only Solarium is a place of peace and tranquillity, set in a Spanish Conquistadores themed area this pool, bar and lounge area is the perfect escape.

In December 2014, Explorer will be upgraded and benefit from the addition of an outdoor cinema screen, a new Concierge Club, ship-wide Wi-Fi and a new nursery. Exciting new dining venues will include Park Café, Chef's Table and Giovanni’s Table.
