This Grand-Class cruise ship is second largest only to recently christened Royal Princess, and holds around 3100 passengers.

Based in California, Grand Princess sails to exotic destinations such as Hawaii and Mexico. Come Spring, she sails to Seattle, extending her reach to the icy glaciers of Alaska.

With signature Princess features such as Movies Under the Stars, along with a vibrant on board nightlife and restaurant culture, it’s easy to see why Princess Cruises offer guests the opportunity to “escape completely”.

Princess Cruises believe in using the freshest and finest ingredients, offering an unforgettable culinary experience. From traditional to casual dining - there is something for everyone.

Through the day, make the most of both the poolside eateries and bistro snack options. Horizon Court Buffet is usually the first port of call for breakfast, be that a warm pastry, continental, or an English breakfast. Grab a panini or pastry anytime, 24/7, from International Café - perfect for those times when you are feeling a little peckish. Prego’s Pizzeria and Trident Grill are great places to hop out of the pool for, serving up things such as hot dogs and burgers. For a more distinguished dining experience, head over to Vines for some delicate seafood and a glass of wine, or perhaps some afternoon tea.

Botticelli Dining Room is an ideal nightly meal time option for those who enjoy timelessly traditional dining, developing new friendships and exchanging pleasantries with your waiter. Head over to Da Vinci or Michelangelo for more casual anytime dining and visit Sabatini’s or Crown Grill for a night that deserves a special touch. These specialty options serve up the finest Italian, steak and seafood you may ever taste on board a cruise ship. Ultimate Balcony Dining is also available for an exclusive dining occasion.

Famed for its innovative Movies Under the Stars feature and sublime shows; stepping onto Grand Princess is a holiday in itself.

Cuddle under a blanket watching a film with the gentle ocean breeze on your face. Movies Under The Stars is the first of its kind, providing a huge LED screen for guests on board to watch the best shows and films. Princess Theatre and Vista show lounge are renowned for their hit comedy acts, signature shows and general feel good atmosphere.

If drinking and dancing is on the agenda, hot spots such as Explorer’s Lounge and The One5 keep the fun going late into the night, as well as the Atlantis Casino, for those feeling like lady luck is on their side.

At the end of the day though, if all you want to do is relax, head over to Wheelhouse, Crooner’s or Snooker’s Cigar Bar, grab a book from the library, or take one of the workshops and classes.

The on board gym and spa facilities are always there for those wanting to keep fit or lose themselves to a pampering session. Workshops are readily available as well for anybody wanting to learn a new skill, such as salsa dancing, Photoshop classes and ceramic classes.
