As well as Independence of the Seas' main pool area serving as the centre of the onboard activities during the day, complete with whirlpools, plenty of loungers and poolside bar and grill, children won't want to leave the Splash Away Bay water park, boasting a range of slides, water cannons and the well-loved drench bucket. In addition, you'll also find the famous FlowRider surf simulator and adult-only spa.

Independence of the Seas is famous for entertainment onboard day and night. As well as the cinema screening fantastic films both old and new, the classic main theatre showcases a variety of Broadway-style productions, including hit musical 'Grease', while cabaret and comedy can also be found at one of the popular venues.
From the majestic 1350 seat theatre to the trivia at Schooner Bar, there's entertainment on every scale. Also worth checking out is the traditional pub, the Dog and Badger, and the funky karaoke bar 'On Air Club'. Had an amazing time on our first ever cruise! Royal Carribean were superb and definitely made our honeymoon one to remember. Indepence of the seas is a fabulous ship with endless entertainment and activities. The shore excursions are great but I do recommend exploring on your own. The food on board is brilliant especially the fine dining and speciality restaurants. Our favourite was Izumi teppenyaki and chops grille. We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise expierence and are now planning another one next year for 1st anniversary. As always I will be booking it via planet cruise again.

Ship was fantastic and the service on board was excellent. I was travelling with my extended family of 8 persons in 3 cabins. Cabin for 3 persons with a hanging bed is not ideal and deprived of sleep.
Excellent service by all staff, especially our cabin attendant.
