Majestic Princess

Majestic Princess is the third cruise ship to join Princess Cruises Royal Class and will be the largest ship in the Princess Cruises fleet when she sets sail on her maiden voyage in April 2017. At 143,000 tonnes, she will have capacity for up to 3560 guests and will boast up to 38 different categories of cabins including many accessible wheelchair cabins. There will be no Oceanview cabins and categories will range from Interior to Balcony Stateroom and beyond. Connecting cabins are available for families and 24 hour room service can be enjoyed onboard for comfort and convenience.

Majestic Princess has been built and designed for the Chinese market and will include a fusion of Chinese and International features onboard, from décor to dining. The hull of Majestic Princess will display the Chinese name Shèng Shì Gong Zhu Haò which translates to Grand Spirit or Grand World.

Cruises will begin in the Mediterranean for Majestic Princess for six weeks before she sails to Japan and South Korea. From then on Majestic Princess will homeport in Shanghai and cruise exotic Asia and the Far East.
Guests will enjoy the choice of fourteen dining venues and special culinary experiences onboard like the World Leaders Dinner and Traditional English Afternoon Tea. The famous Lobster Grill and 24 hour buffet are favourite dining venues that will also be included onboard.  Guests onboard will have the chance to experience Ultimate Balcony Dining, and an ocean-view hot pot dinner option. 

Other exciting dining options come from partnerships with Michelin Sarred Chefs.  La Mer - A French Bistro by Emmanuel Renaut and Cantonese specialities in Harmony from Chef Richard Chen.
New onboard advancements will be introduced throughout to deliver The Princess Cruise experience to Asia. Many of Princess’ signature attractions will be present onboard such as Movies Under the Stars, which boasts the largest outdoor screen at sea. New features will include Ballroom Dancing and learning T’ai chi at sea. Distinctive inclusions from her Princess Sister ships will also be present, including the famous SeaWalk (glass floor walkway suspended over the sea), Chef’s Table Lumiere and spectacular multi-story central atrium.

Majestic Princess will offer an international flavour of cruising and showcase the brand’s exclusive Princess Class experience, drawn from the brand’s award-winning expertise as the world’s leader in premium destination cruising. Oriental cultural events and inspired entertainment will also be revealed onboard. Guests will enjoy an unparalleled duty-free shopping experience, featuring leading designer brands and fine goods.
