With a personalised service, delectable culinary standard, tailor-made itinerary and comforting interior, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ MS Europa 2 is certainly a ship to behold.

Built in 2013, this brand new state-of-the-art ship boasts a unique blend of ambiance and modern technology. The ship comfortably carries up to 500 passengers, with 370 crew members; an intimate size offering plenty of space per guest with a strong passenger to crew ratio.

The MS Europa 2 is set to traverse the Western and Eastern Mediterranean as well as Arabian Peninsula and parts of Asia, this way, a cruise can be adapted to each passenger’s wishes – be that a world sector voyage or 7-day vacation.

The MS Europa is home to 8 fine dining restaurants and with no set tables or meal times, the choice is yours.

Highlights include the Restaurant Weltmeere, which serves a menu of delicious international dishes inspired by the ship’s itinerary. For a taste of France, head to Restaurant Tarragon which boasts dishes like rabbit cassoulet with carrot and mint paired with a full-bodied glass of Bordeaux wine.

During the day, there is a pool featuring a retractable roof in anticipation of all climates. Try your hand at some golf with the impressive on board simulators.

Head to the on board Culinary school for a tutorial from the ship’s top chefs, or head to an enriching lecture and discuss the cultural, historical and architectural importance of the region you are visiting.

Evening entertainment on board is vast with plenty of bars, music venues and party nights to choose from. Head to the Jazz club and sit back with an Old Fashioned enjoying a repertoire of musicians until the early hours of the morning. Also on board is the Piano Bar and Herrenzimmer amongst others.

The ship also features a 3D cinema and the ship’s theatre is home to fantastic shows and comedy nights with famous performers and new talents.

As well as this, the ship welcomes families with children’s clubs and welcome packages for babies aging from zero to three years.

The Ocean Spa boasts a variety of on board treatments with one of the most popular being a Hawaiian oil massage. Beauty treatments including manicures and pedicures are also available.

Those wanting to work off some of the delicious food consumed will be glad to hear of the on board fitness centre that offers state-of-the-art equipment and classes including yoga and pilates. Fitness trainers will be on hand to give you any encouragement or advice you may need.
