The Italian MSC Cruises hold some of the most contemporary ships available in value cruising, and this intimate mid-sized ships is considered one of the favourites in the fleet. The 1566 passenger ship was launched in 2001, and hosts 2 outdoor pools, along with all the usual features expected of modern cruising such as a theatre, spa and gym, along with family friendly amenities like the kids arcade, golf simulator and much more.

During the Summer period, expect exquisite Mediterranean expeditions to the likes of Venice, Santorini and Mykonos. Chase the sun with holidays to the Canaries during the Winter period, such as Gran Canaria and Tenerife.

Newly enhanced as of November 2014 under the Renaissance Programme, the new-look MSC Armonia is bigger and better than ever with more balcony cabins, newly dedicated clubs for younger cruisers and features tailor-made areas for children that have been officially designed, equipped and endorsed by Chicco and LEGO.

Look out for some hot offers on MSC Cruises in 2014 and 2015, including some incredible last minute cheap deals.

Dining on board MSC Armonia is great – whether you want to go al fresco and romantic in the Il Girasole, or join others in the 2 main restaurants, La Pergola (formal) and Marco Polo (informal).

Choose from locally sourced Italian meats and freshly baked bread, along with traditional Italian dishes, perfect for conjuring that Mediterranean ambience. Experience newly designed restaurants and bars from winter 2014 plus a buffet open 20 hours each day.

For those that are on the go at the shore excursions, grab a quick lunch at 24-hour La Brasserie Cafeteria.

Entertainment is varied and you will always have something to do with a fully packed entertainment schedule available 20 hours a day.  Enjoy the opulent Moulin Rouge piano bar, to the simple pleasures found in the White Lion (English style pub) and Cigar Room.

There will be plenty of chance to taste the cocktails on offer at Bar del Duomo, tickle the tiles and sing karaoke anthems in the Armonia Lounge, take your chances in the Casino, or catch a West End style production in La Fenice Theatre.

There is also an on board cinema, library and card room, night club, shopping gallery and photo gallery. With the kids? There are also great family options for youngsters and teens, including the Star Galaxy video game room. Babies and young ones will also love the Baby Club and Playroom designed and equipped by Chicco and LEGO available from Novemeber 2014.

No cruise would be complete without optimum levels of relaxation: from kicking back at the pool, to treating yourself to a relaxing massage. Take advantage of the spa, gym, sauna, 2 adult swimming pools and 2 whirlpools.

You also have the chance to keep fit during your holiday, with easy access to a jogging area, climbing wall, mini golf, volleyball, tennis and basketball court.
