MSC Cruises
  • Overview

Formed in the 1970s, MSC Cruises showcased affordable European cruising vacations at affordable prices. By the Millenium, MSC had commissioned a whole host of new ships including Lirica and Opera, meaning they now have an impressive 12 mid-sized ships. Larger vessels such as Musica hold up to 2550 passengers – its siblings include Orchestra, Poesia and the popular Magnifica which launched in 2010, finishing off the Musica class ships. The impressive Fantasia series can hold up to 3300 passengers, and supports forward-thinking features such as the award winning Yacht Club concept, which lets passengers enjoy a more opulent holiday with an exclusive pool area, interactive centre, 4D theatre and Formula One simulator.

MSC Cruises exudes Italian style and panache. It is the leader in Mediterranean cruising, focussing on holidays for European travellers. If a trip further afield is what you’re after, they also offer voyages to a variety of destinations – MSC Divina is docked in Miami as we speak.

MSC offer fantastic fly cruises to the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Caribbean, Canaries, South America, South Africa and the Emirates. It is family friendly, and has great facilities for infants and teenagers.

New enhancements have been made to four of the twelve strong MSC Cruises fleet. Under the ambitious two year operation known as the Renaissance Programme, MSC Armonia, MSC Sinfonia, MSC Opera and MSC Lirica have been re-sized and revitalized with exciting new on-board improvements.
