Norwegian Cruise Line is a great value cruise option and a fantastic choice for families, couples, groups or singles. The American-style ships in the Norwegian Cruise Line fleet offer an experience that mixes traditional and modern features with colourful décor and fun packed facilities. Founded in 1966, but changed direction with the launch of its current fleet of ships in 1999, starting with Norwegian Sky.

Norwegian Cruise Line’s innovative Premium All Inclusive style of cruising provides choice and flexibility for absolute peace of mind at sea. Now with more than ever included in the upfront cost of a Norwegian Cruise Line cruise, guests can relax knowing it’s all taken care of and spend more time planning life onboard to suit individual tastes.

Sailing Premium All Inclusive means that a great deal of elements are covered in one go. Included in the cruise price are all meals in main dining venues (including buffets, deck grills, restaurants and more), premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, award winning entertainment, outstanding leisure facilities plus service charges and gratuities. So you can feel free to get more from your holiday.

Norwegian Cruise Line is the ideal choice for a family cruise holiday with the Splash Academy catering for kids aged 3-12 years and Entourage Club for teenagers. The Guppies program is great for babies and infants, offering sensory learning classes. Teenagers can be left to their own devices in one of the exhilarating teen centres where they get their own pool, a disco, and of course, a selection of games consoles and arcades.

Sail from the UK to the Mediterranean, Baltics or Scandinavia with NCL. Fly to meet your ship in the USA and enjoy the summer scenery of Alaska. Or fly to the Caribbean to experience ships such as Norwegian Sun, which cruises to the likes of Hawaii, Alaska, USA, Bermuda, Mexico, Panama Canal and South America.

Norwegian Cruise Line’s ships are famed for a wide range of dining venues, including delicately seasoned French bistros to soy-infused sushi bars and meaty steakhouses.

Day to day NCL guests are treated to a continental feast with endless buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Further casual dining can be enjoyed at the poolside grills, cooking up succulent burgers that can be enjoyed alfresco.

In addition, there is the inviting Chocoholic’s Buffet which appears once on every cruise. Expect a showcase of gourmet selection chocolate sculptures and cakes.

Entertainment onboard is plentiful, and diverse enough to suit all tastes. Find something for the kids or a romantic couples evening. You can expect to see some incredible Broadway-style shows such as Priscilla: Queen of The Desert and laugh out loud comedy performances. For something completely different head over to a perfume seminar or even an art auction.

Relaxation is a key part of any cruise, and NCL cruises do it very well. The Mandara Spas offer luxury treatments that you will find on very few cruise lines – this includes teeth whitening, acupuncture and even botox. Some of the newer ships offer luxury amenities.

Relax onboard with a flexible and casual dress code.

Norwegian Cruise Line’s ships are notorious for their varied and delectable dining options. From the complimentary main dining rooms and eateries to the speciality restaurants with tastes from across the globe; you will be spoilt for choice. Come prepared to experience some new flavours and acquire some new favourites.

Complimentary Dining

NCL ships are host to a large number of complimentary eateries, from main dining rooms such as The Manhattan Room, the Grand Pacific and the infamous Taste, to the more casual indoor and outdoor buffets such as the Garden Café and Raffles Court.

Most NCL ships offer at least one 24-hour food venue – to satisfy those 2am hunger pangs or 5am post-party cravings. Eateries include the Blue Lagoon and O’Sheehan’s which serve up classics such as burgers and chips or fast-wok dishes.

The main pool bar and grills are ambient, lively and tasty – with poolside convenience and ocean views – you’ll definitely want to spend a day or two camped up here.

Most ships also offer an ‘alternative’ bar and grill for something a little different – for example Spice H2O, the adult-only Latin and Asian-influenced complex features on various NCL ships and will be sure to awaken your taste buds. Look out for Norwegian Sun’s complimentary tapas bar, Las Ramblas – an NCL exclusive.

There is a coffee bar on every ship for your daily caffeine fix or a fresh pastry.

All ships feature 24-hour room service, so if all the above fails, or you would simply prefer to chill in your cabin, the NCL staff would be more than happy to cater to your needs.

Speciality Dining

Speciality dining aboard NCL cruise ships is reasonably priced (starting from $5 per head), incredibly varied and just down-right delicious.

For some gourmet French cuisine, try Le Bistro, or Moderno for succulent skewers of barbecued meats carved at your table.
Asian cuisine is available with the likes of Sushi, Teppanyaki, the authentic Japanese Hibachi restaurant and Bamboo – conquering the tastes of Asia.  24/7 pizza delivery is also available.
