Queen Victoria is the smallest of the three Queens in the Cunard fleet. She is the same size and design as Queen Elizabeth and slightly smaller than Queen Mary 2. At 90,000 tonnes she is still a magnificent and sizeable vessel and she can comfortably accommodate over 2000 guests and 900 crew. With seven restaurants, thirteen bars, three swimming pools, a glamorous ball room and a fabulous theatre she is well equipped to fulfil the wishes of all who sail with her.
With her classic black hull, gleaming white upper decks and proud red funnel Queen Victoria is instantly recognisable as one of Cunard’s banner carriers. Classically elegant and refined, Queen Victoria has been sailing since 2007 when she set sail from her maiden port of Southampton. She sails all over the world, including short taster cruises in Europe, and much further afield to the furthest reaches of the globe.
Queen Victoria underwent a £34 million refit in May 2017 which included an expansion to the aft lido sun deck to replicate a design much like a luxury resort roof terrace. Guests can enjoy al fresco dining options, more generous seating, improved deck furniture and extended shaded areas as well as evening entertainment. Other new entertainment areas include the debut of The Yacht Club, where you can enjoy social activities day or night and come 3pm, the area transitions into a pre and post dinner entertainment venue with DJ's and live bands. Other improvements include updates to The Winter Garden and other bars and lounges. Plus, a stateroom upgrade for every guest, with new soft furnishings, carpets and HD televisions as well as completely redesigned suites.
