The Regal Princess is the latest addition to the Princess Cruises fleet. Holding 3560 passengers, this new vessel is the sister ship of the popular Royal Princess. Both the Royal Princess and the Regal Princess represent the new generation of Princess ships, complete with exciting new innovations such as The SeaWalk glass-bottom walkway, spectacular dancing fountains and a special app messaging service to help guests keep in touch with each other whilst onboard. In addition, guests will also find a large range of dining options, opportunities for relaxation, sports and fitness activities, not to mention a fantastic array of evening entertainment.

The ship will sail across the exotic Caribbean, stopping at ports such as St.Thomas, St. Maarten and Princess Cays in the beautiful Bahamas. In April 2015, the ship will reposition to Northern Europe, sailing to Russia, Scandinavia and even the UK. Once in port guests will be able to choose from plenty of optional shore excursions, from snorkelling in the stunning turquoise waters of the Bahamas to enjoying a classical ballet performance in the fascinating city of St. Petersburg, Russia.

Accommodation

There are a number of Stateroom options available onboard the Regal Princess, from comfortable Interior rooms, to spacious suites complete with a balcony, plus wheelchair accessible Staterooms. All accommodations come with luxurious Egyption cotton bed linen, a flat screen television, 24-hour complimentary room service, a well-stocked mini-fridge and a Stateroom steward to make sure you have everything you need.

The Oceanview Staterooms featured on the Regal Princess offer a picture window, presenting stunning sea views across the ocean as you sail to your chosen destination. Balcony Staterooms provide you with your very own private balcony area, starting at 41 square foot in size, furnished with a table and chairs so that you can opt to enjoy a meal outdoors, whilst watching the world sail by.

Suites onboard the Regal Princess offer guests a separate sitting area, and some even feature a sofa bed to accommodate a third guest. In addition, suite guests will also experience upgraded balcony furniture, including sun loungers, welcome champagne and a pillow menu. Guests who opt for a Full Suite will benefit from a bath, a complimentary mini-bar and complimentary laundry services.

Enjoy freshly prepared food, made from the finest ingredients onboard the Regal Princess. Whether you prefer set dining times, or more flexible options, the Regal Princess offers guests both options. Guests will also have the option of formal evening dinners or casual eateries, including a number of snack options to satisfy those hunger cravings in-between meals.

To experience classic dining onboard the Regal Princess, the Traditional Dining Room is the place to go. When choosing to dine here, guests will be sat at the same table each evening, with the same waiter and the same fellow passengers. For a truly unique experience, the Chef’s Table Lumiere provides guests with a private dining option, in which the Head Chef will talk guests through the specially prepared menu and carefully paired wines. The beautiful Italian glass sculpture set in the middle of the table and the stunning curtain of light that separates the table from the rest of the dining room further add to this very luxurious experience.

The alternative to the traditional dining option is Anytime Dining. With this option, guests can choose to eat in one of the very special private wine cellar rooms and are not confined to set dining times or tables. For a taste of delectable regional cuisine, Sabatini’s Italian restaurant and Crown Grill steak and seafood restaurant really deliver.

For a quicker, more casual dining option, there are seven delicious eateries onboard. From refreshing ice cream at Gelato, to traditional Italian hand-made pizzas at Alfredo’s Pizzeria, you can rest assured that there is something to satisfy your every craving. Further casual dining options include a scrumptious pastry shop, buffet, seafood bar, a wine, sushi and tapas bar, plus the International Café serving up fresh paninis, hot drinks and sweet options.

The new addition to the Princess fleet now features even more activities to keep you entertained during your cruise. Enjoy wondrous views of the ocean below you in The SeaWalk, a glass-bottomed walkway – a unique new feature found only on Regal Princess and Royal Princess. For something a little different, visit the top deck for the chance to enjoy complimentary popcorn and Movies Under the Stars.

Watch the top deck light up with dazzling 33 foot water fountains and beautiful light shows, in the Princess WaterColor Fantasy. If you’re a theatre fan you’ll love the Princess Theater, which hosts elaborate musical revues. For a chance to get involved with the action, the Princess Live! TV studio offers guests the chance to participate in game shows, as well as watch culinary demonstrations, comedy and live music.

For a pre-dinner aperitif or a post-dinner cocktail, Bellini’s offers an ambient atmosphere complete with Italian-inspired drinks. Crooner’s Lounge and Bar and Wheelhouse Bar feature live piano accompaniment – Crooner’s even provides a huge choice of 75 different martinis for you to choose from. For a lively evening drink, the Vista Lounge showcases live performances, while Club 6 is a lively new club which gives you the opportunity to dance the night away.

Youngsters onboard the Regal Princess will also benefit from a number of activities catered just for them. The Pelicans kids club looks after children between 3-7, offering movie nights, arts and crafts activities, plus exciting games such as mini air hockey. For 8-12 year-olds, the Shockwaves provides game stations, a lounge and creative arts and crafts tables. For the older kids, Remix caters for those aged between 13-17, providing a place to socialise and play video games, foosball and more.

Relax in a bubbling hot tub, take a dip in one of the fresh water pools or be pampered with rejuvenating treatments at the Lotus Spa; there is no end of opportunities to unwind onboard the Regal Princess. The Lotus Spa also provides beauty treatments, such as hair colouring and styling, manicures, pedicures, teeth whitening and more. For the ultimate spa experience, visit The Sanctuary, where guests can rent out a private cabana and receive delicious healthy snacks, complimentary drinks and a host of revitalising spa treatments.
