The MS Regatta epitomises everything that Oceania Cruises stand for, with the ship having been designed to provide the ultimate in quality, personalising the experience for all passengers. For a start, it offers one of the highest guest-to-crew ratios at sea, with some 400 members of staff serving the vessel's 684 passengers.

This sense of quality is something that guests will notice from the moment they board the Regatta, with several of the ship's design elements helping to reinforce the sense of class and luxury. Glossy wood panelling, made from the finest teak, as well as custom tiling in the lounges, serve to recreate the ambience of a country club, where all passengers are VIP members.

This is continued in the cabins, each of which comes with Oceania Cruises' exclusive Tranquility Beds, featuring the finest mattresses you're ever likely to sleep on, not to mention luxurious down duvets and Egyptian cotton blankets. Around two-thirds of all cabins come with their own balcony too, while the Staterooms, Penthouse Suites and the Owner's Suite provide the ultimate in luxury cruise accommodation.

Whatever food you're looking for, and whatever environment you want to eat in, you'll find it aboard the Regatta. For a casual yet elegant dining experience, for instance, be sure to head to the Grand Dining Room, where you'll receive top-quality service, not to mention world-class cuisine.

Alternatively, you could treat yourself to a pizza or pasta dish at the onboard Italian restaurant, Toscana, or head to the Terrace, where you'll be able to enjoy a buffet lunch or Spanish-style a la carte menu in the evenings.

The poolside Waves Grill offers gourmet burgers, steaks and more for those who don't want to take a break from sunbathing while they eat, while the Polo Grill is an equally great option.

There are endless leisure opportunities onboard the Regatta, with no fewer than eight lounges for passengers to socialise in over a drink. Of these, Martini's is among the best, with a fantastic cocktail list for guests to enjoy while the pianist in residence helps to set the mood.

The Show Room is the place to be for nightly performances covering everything from side-splitting comedy to racy cabaret, while the games room offers a range of classic holiday activities, such as table tennis, shuffleboard and much more.

If you fancy a flutter, be sure to spend an evening in the onboard casino, while those who are looking to relax are sure to find the perfect treatment at the Canyon Ranch Spa.
