Known as the Eternal City, you would need the rest of their life to explore the entirety of Rome. The port is located in Civitavecchia, an hour from the city and though it isn't the main attraction there are several sites to see, like the National Archaeological Museum and the 16th-century Michelangelo fortress. It would be impossible to mention all there is to see and do in Rome itself, but the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain are amongst the landmarks not to be missed.
