Seabourn Sojourn

Seabourn Sojourn

The second of the new class of all inclusive luxury ships is Seabourn Sojourn. She debuted in 2010 on the River Thames, named be British fashion icon, Twiggy, and is the closest thing to a boutique land-based hotel you will get at sea. She is largely identical to both Seabourn Odyssey and Quest, and has 90% balcony suites.

As an intimate, 208-person ultra-luxury liner, Seabourn offers unrivalled service and a selection of complimentary gifts, from a welcome bottle of Champagne, to a huge variety of free drinks. Along with this, your gratuities and tips are included, and you can be sure to experience a unique array of shore excursions and events, from the famous ‘Caviar In The Surf’ where the waiters will emerge from the ocean with caviar and Champagne, to a beach party or Marina Day.

Use of the watersports equipment is also included – a unique, and very popular feature of the Seabourn experience.

You will be welcomed onto the ship via the Square, which is encircled by an array of shops. Look slightly further afield, and you will find a compact, but incredible selection of restaurants. Enjoy alfresco dining at the Colonnade, with its sensational wraparound terrace. You will spend most evenings in The Restaurant though, where buffet breakfast and lunch will be held – head over to Restaurant 2 for smaller, more intricate dishes.

Wanting to relax? Seabourn is equipped with plenty of spaces to lounge about in, including the Spa Terrace on Deck 10, featuring a breezy cabana with small whirlpools. The pool patio is where you will spend most of the day, which is enveloped by the main pool and whirlpool spas, along with a grill and bar serving up poolside favourites. A few other relaxing treats include The Retreat where you can play 9-hole golf, The Sun Terrace for relaxation under the stars, along with the Observation Bar for panoramic views with your morning coffee.

The Club is great for hosting all the live music events, whilst the Grand Salon will keep you entertained with a selection of cooking demonstrations or lectures through the day, and cabaret by night. Feeling lucky? Visit the Casino for a game of blackjack. Why not end the evening with a romantic alfresco drink at the Sky Bar.
