TUI Discovery (formally known as Thomson Discovery) is the newest and largest ship to join the Thomson Cruises fleet.  Sailing from Palma, Majorca in the summer of 2016 she will delight guests with exotic sailings and attractive itineraries. Being the largest Thomson Cruises ship to date Thomson Discovery carries 1,800 passengers, yet continues to offer guests an intimate atmosphere with a strong and dedicated service onboard. Guests sailing onboard Thomson Discovery can relax whilst enjoying breath-taking views as almost 40% of the cabins come with a balcony. Perfect for that rich destination focussed experience that Thomson Cruises have established. Adventure and exploration are guaranteed with fewer days at sea and new enticing itineraries announced for 2016. 

TUI Discovery boasts 915 spaciously comfortable cabins plus a wide selection Suites for guests to choose from. Cabins onboard TUI Discovery are light and airy with a modern clean design. Fitted with air-conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, Flatscreen TV, hairdryer and safe, cabins onboard are designed to provide you with absolute comfort during your cruise holiday.

Cabin and suite options range from Inside to Single Outside, Deluxe Balcony and Family Junior Suites to Executive Suite and more in-between; meaning there really is something for everyone.

As the largest cruise ship in the Thomson Cruises fleet, diners onboard TUI Discovery are truly spoilt for choice. Breakfast can be enjoyed hot or cold at the laid back Islands buffet restaurant on Deck 9; or on the go from the food festival inspired Snack Shack.

For lunch and dinner a generous number of venues are available offering everything from specialty world cuisine to traditional favourites.

Diners will always find a table at main restaurant 47 Degrees, a large venue spanning two storeys with a cool Italian restaurant featured on the second floor. Top deck a la carte dining venues are perfect for a special occasion, offering spectacular views for afternoon tea or a dinner to remember. A la carte options include the Surf & Turf Steakhouse serving marbled steaks and filling lobster tails, or Kora La with signature pan-Asian inspired dishes.

Light bites, juices and tapas style snacks are available at the brightly designed Glass House on Deck 9 and cold drinks can be enjoyed at the Deck Bar spanning Decks 9 and 10.

Room service is available for those who wish to dine in the comfort of their cabin or suite. All-inclusive options will be available from summer 2017 and drinks packages are available for those who would like to tailor their cruise to their tastes.
Ideal for active cruisers, TUI Discovery is bursting with things to see and do during sea days. From The Wall for adventurous outdoor escapades to Mini Golf for some healthy competition. Gamers can get their fix in the Gamerzone and retail therapy is available for those in need at the Broad Street Shops.

A main pool, indoor pool and whirlpools provide the perfect opportunity to cool off after a jog on the Deck 10 jogging track or post gym session.

For something completely different and new to Thomson Cruises, check out the Breakout and Escape Room. This action packed activity involves teamwork, mental agility and quick thinking as you and your team mates find clues and solve puzzles to escape the room before time is up. A charge applies for this activity.

Children’s facilities are in abundance, from the Baby Centre to Splash Live, Kids Club to the cool Teen Hide Out; children and young adults are well catered for onboard.

Evening entertainment ranges from impressive Broadway shows to a buzzing onboard Casino. Movies by Moonlight can be enjoyed at the top deck open air cinema, whilst cocktails and dancing keep the night alive in the onboard bars.
The Oceans Spa and Beauty Salon provides staple favourites such as manicures and hair styling plus rejuvinating spa treatments from facials to full body massage.
