Viking Sun will be the fourth ocean ship for Viking Cruises and is set to be delivered in late 2017. Mirroring the sleek and stylish design of sister ships Viking Star and Viking Sea, she will feature understated elegance and a modern Scandinavian design.

With room to comfortably accommodate almost 1000 guests, Viking Sun will boast an impressive range of stateroom categories to enjoy. From a 270 sq ft Veranda Stateroom (all featuring private veranda’s and king size beds) to a luxurious two-room Explorer Suite.

Dining onboard Viking Sun will tantalise taste-buds as guests can enjoy great variety and even dine in a different restaurant every night for free. Al fresco dining options are in abundance so that the stunning sea views can be enjoyed at all times. Cuisine ranges from international fare to moreish Italian inspired favourites and Nordic deli-style delights. An intimate dining experience can be booked at The Chef’s Table with a multi-course tasting menu complete with wine pairings, whilst Afternoon Tea can be taken in the elegant Wintergarden.

Guests onboard Viking Sun will be able to choose between the Main Pool with retractable roof and a stunning glass-backed infinity pool with breath-taking views. Relaxation is enhanced by the LivNordic Spa with features like the traditional Sauna and Snow Grotto – where snowflakes float from the ceiling through chilled air.

Viking’s Culture Curriculum© introduces world class lectures, vintage wine tasting and enriching performances from fokloric shows to classical musicians. Cooking school teaches guests all about preparing local dishes and when it’s time to sit back and unwind, the Explorer’s Lounge provides the perfect setting.

Sail with a clear conscience because Viking’s ocean ships are fitted with energy efficient hybrid engines and equipment that minimises exhaust pollution.
