Voyager of the Seas

Voyager of the Seas was the first of the Voyager class ships to be built and really showcases why Royal Caribbean are famous for pushing boundaries.

This amazing ship offers some of the most innovative facilities at sea, along with the capacity and variety to satisfy every taste. From the range of activities, dining and entertainment, a cruise on the Voyager is sure to give you the holiday of a lifetime.

Voyager of the Seas was the first Royal Caribbean ship to introduce the signature Royal Promenade, a large indoor promenade lined with shops and restaurants set in the centre of the ship. This is also the venue for various parades and events throughout the cruise, and is often described by many as their favourite part of the ship.

For the adventurous, there is a host of activities to keep you busy. The pool and sports deck is home to some of the most adventurous activities you will find at sea, such as rock climbing, mini golf, and the first inline skating track afloat.

If you are looking for more of a relaxing cruise then rest assured, there is just as much to offer you. There are plenty of indulgences offered at the Day Spa, choose from a range of signature treatments designed to give you the ultimate pampering experience. You can unwind in the adult-only Ancient Rome themed Solarium, a peaceful pool area with tranquil settings.

For the kids the Adventure Beach family area is fantastic. Your young ones are sure to love this pool area featuring children’s pools and a water slide.

After fun-filled days or hours of relaxation, it’s good to head back to a comfortable room.

From inside, outside, balcony and suite rooms there is certainly one to ensure you have a home away from home.

All rooms are fitted with the latest room amenities including luxurious bedding, TV, telephone and safe. All rooms also feature private bathrooms and vanity areas equipped with mirror lighting and a hairdryer.

An exciting room type exclusive to Royal Caribbean ships are the Promenade view staterooms. These rooms boast a large window that look down onto the amazing Royal Promenade, offering a unique accommodation experience. With promenade parades and shows, you will have the best view in the house.

For the most premium rooms, try one of the luxurious suites that includes a personalised concierge service and private areas of the ship just for you.

Whether you fancy a juicy 50s style burger or a five course meal, the choice is yours. The dining options onboard are endless.

The main dining room offers the best in traditional style cruise dining. Spread over three decks the surroundings compliment the diverse menu perfectly. Every night will offer you different three course options along with a pleasant wait staff service.

Along with the main dining room there are many other food and drink venues onboard Voyager of the Seas including:

  • Windjammer Café – A great place for a quick snack or a more casual meal time, this buffet style restaurant will definitely have something you desire. Home to different self-serve stations offering everything from Asian cuisine to salad bars.
  • Portofino - An intimate restaurant offering the finest in Italian cuisine. From pastas to speciality meat dishes, you are sure to satisfy your taste buds here.
  • Johnny Rockets – This classic old fashioned American style diner is everyone’s favourite! Offering the best range of burgers, fries and milkshakes along with dancing waiters, this is the perfect venue to get the family together.

From morning to night, you are spoilt for choice with the entertainment options onboard Voyager of the Seas.

The La Scala Theatre, inspired by the famous La Scala in Milan offers the ultimate setting for the best in cruise entertainment. Set over three decks the 1350 seat theatre will be home to Broadway style shows, musicals and other onboard performances.

For something special, be sure to see the world class ice shows performed in one of the few ice rinks at sea.

Feel the buzz of the nightclub, the excitement of the Casino, or the laid back atmosphere of the piano bar. The Pig and Whistle is a traditional English pub offering all your favourite beers as well as live music. If you prefer a more intimate venue then head to the Champagne Bar for an evening of elegance, canapés and fizz.

In 2012, Voyager was also the fifth Royal Caribbean ship to launch the DreamWorks Experience. Guaranteed fun for the kids, and the kids at heart! A host of enjoyable activities and shows featuring your favourite DreamWorks characters from Shrek, Madagascar and KungFu Panda.
