Best cruise I have been on.ship not as luxurious As Norwegian or P&O but more than made up for by lovely crew. Adult only was a big big plus. The two sinners in the Liberties bar were top class, a disco would have been bonus
This was a first with Tui and hopefully not my last. My Daughter and I were were very pleased with all aspects of the Cruise. I'm fact, I thought that the entertainment team were exceptional, wonderful innovative shows. Food was very good, as I am on a Gluton Free diet the dinning room staff were very patient and helpful. Trips were very well organized and flights to and from Gatwick excellent.
A very relaxing week with good food and excellent service.
After traveling with numerous other cruise lines I was a bit apprehensive about marella. Would it be like the experience of the long gone island cruise line. Two generations, mum, aunty, myself and husband. Ranging from mid forties to eighties. I was very pleasantly surprised. Even with dietary restrictions food choices and services was excellent. All areas were spotless clean even if a bit dated but it was an older ship. Itinerary was fantastic and price couldn't be matched. All inclusive made budgeting easy. Would I go with marella again? Definitely, especially as they have slightly different itinerary to the norm.
We've been on Celebration several times because their itineraries are always good and every time you can guarantee excellent service. We have been with lots of different cruise brands, but Marella is one of the best. Staff are exceptionally friendly and because of the 'no gratuity' system, you know they are genuine. Entertainment is good, food is good, no fault with anything! Booking through Planet Cruise is very easy and efficient.
We enjoyed our cruise very much, food hot and plentiful good choices. . Could not fault. Entertainment very good. Flights very good, although we could not get seats together going or returning. As we did not pay and book our seats in advance. That was so disappointing.
Apart from the beautiful places we visited, the highlight of this cruise was undoubtedly the staff. Without exception, every single member of staff was not only polite, helpful and smiling but they genuinely wanted to assist in whatever way they could. The cleaning and restaurant teams in particular were all so very good, always with a smile and a cheery Good Morning if we passed - absolutely excellent service!!! My daughter and I took my elderly mother (a seasoned cruiser) who's first comment was ''It's not exactly Sovereign of the Seas'' but I actually preferred the ship being smaller - big enough for all the restaurants etc, but perhaps a little more intimate than the huge 'block of flats' ships I'd seen. There were hand sanitizers throughout the ship - excellent idea & so simple. The only thing I personally didn't like was the 'organinsed games & quizzes' on the pool deck in the afternoon - would have preferred a bit of peace & quiet - although there was the promenade deck available with seats & sunbeds. All in all, highly recommended - beautiful places in the Adriatic and Venice - thoroughly enjoyed!
Fantastic cruise with TUI on the Celebration, our favourite ship. Friendly staff and other travellers, dinning and food, always excellent. Loads of excursions to choose from at reasonable prices. We chose this holiday because we love TUI celebration and the itinerary , which was full of really interesting place to visit. Excellent value for money
Great cruise. Missed a few ports but can't help the weather. Couldn't fault any of the staff, food or services. Ship dated but kept immaculate by the staff as with the cabins. 2nd time on celebration, would go again.
Very friendly ship. Service was a little slow at times, especially outside the buffet area & coffee port. There wasn't enough doing on sea days for me, a couple of times they put a film on during the day and didn't announce it! But overall very enjoyable cruise.
