Destinations visited by P&O Cruises

Britain’s favourite Cruise line has four ships in the fleet that are particularly family friendly: Azura, Aurora, Oceana and Ventura. All are excellent for families and welcome children with fantastic entertainment, multiple swimming pool and sports areas and of course a great range of kids’ clubs to suit all ages.

The Reef – for 2 - 17 year olds

Supervised by Reef Rangers who have an enhanced DBS check and extensive planning experience.

Night nursery and group babysitting is also available for children aged between 6 months and 4 years free of charge, further information is available onboard.

Splashers (2-4yrs

This club caters for the youngest of the kids’ club members. Singing, dancing, playing games. and winning prizes keeps the little ones entertained. Puppet shows are put on and snacks are provided during the day.

Surfers (5-8yrs

This age group have fun activities such as face-painting, three legged races and a cookery corner where Surfers can create their own delicious flavours. They will play themed games such as pirate gladiators, and pin the parrot on the pirate to keep them happy and out of mischief!

Scubas (9-12yrs

Giant Jenga and Playstations are provided, as are drama workshops, table tennis competitions, pool parties and karaoke sessions.

H2O (13-17yrs

Organised by H20 are Playstations® and other age appropriate games. They can join Rock School and form their own band, or play a table football competition or they can take advantage of the free arcade hour and of course there is a teen disco. Trying to drag them back to the cabin is the only foreseeable problem!

Family Dining

Children generally eat with their families for breakfast and lunch but because P&O Cruises recognise that parents sometimes need a special evening “off” there is a children’s tea every night with favourites such as sausages, fish fingers, pizza and many healthy options including salads, soups, fruit, vegetables and pasta.

Family Staterooms

There are plenty of options for family staterooms with P&O Cruises and the best advice is to speak to our experts at Planet Cruise to discuss your particular needs. In the school holidays the family cabins are booked up fast, so it is worth planning ahead and booking early.

There is great value to be had in the three and four berth inside and outside staterooms and if you are travelling in a party of more than four then interconnecting rooms are the answer. There are also cabins with four to six berths and mini suite options available.
